Making cold process soap is not an easy task. There are a lot of variables that go into the process. When we made this batch of Tide Pool, we poured the fragrance too fast and it created little white spots in the soap (called ricing). Ricing does not affect the quality of the soap, it only impacts the look. This is perfectly wonderful soap with a minor aesthetic blemish!
